USO

"Since 1941, the USO has been the nation’s leading organization to serve the men and women in the U.S. military, and their families, throughout their time in uniform. From the moment they join, through their assignments and deployments, and as they transition back to their communities, the USO is always by their side" (USO.org).

 

The USO provides many resources for both DOD (Department of Defense) and Coast Guard active duty members and their families.

 

These resources include: â€‹

  • Coffee Connections for military spouses 

  • Reading programs for military kids 

  • Therapy and comfort dogs for service members and their families  

  • Transition services for members and military spouses 

  • Airport lounges available to military families for free
